A lovely windchime made from upcycled glass with added embellishments of driftwood and beads.
Unwanted bottles or glass offcuts are shaped by hand to create the raw materials for each product. They are then put into a big tumbler and churned in sand and pebbles for a week until they are smooth and frosty.
The pieces are assembled ready to start a new life, like these windchimes. The chime make a lovely soft sound as they move.
Each one is about 11 cm wide and 20-25 cm long including cord. The glass pieces each measure approximately 8-10 cm long.
Made by sisters Jen and Susan aka Tumbleworn. Each item is unique, thanks to the alchemy of the tumbler.
